Imtiaz became Chairman of Land Data in 2005. He was previously Chief Executive of NHBC (National House Building Council), and Chief Executive of Leicester City Council where he led the successful regeneration of the city centre. Until recently, he served on the National Learning and Skills Council, where he was prominent on skills and further education reform and was a founder board member of the Environment Agency.

Fiona was appointed Chief Executive in July 2021, prior to this she was Land Data's Head of Communications. Fiona has extensive experience in communications, strategy, and business development for complex and changing organisations. She has worked with local Government and corporate clients in information technology, telecoms, and the professional services sector. Fiona is a Chartered PR practitioner.

Ian became Vice Chair of Land Data in 2005 combining this role with the chairmanship of the Improvement and Development Agency for Local Government, a role he occupied from 2004 and 2010. Ian was appointed deputy chair of the newly formed Association of Local Government and also chaired the Employers Organisation and then the Improvement and Development Agency. He served as a County Councillor from 1977 until 2021.

Juliet has worked in local government for more than 25 years. She leads a team that commissions and conducts research projects and analysis, providing evidence and information which enables the LGA to effectively represent and support local authorities. Her team also delivers a programme of work to help authorities make better use of data. Juliet represents the sector in relation to data, including on data burden and the Single Data List. She also leads the LG Inform programme, a data benchmarking service for councils and fire and rescue authorities/services. She sits on the board of GeoPlace LLP, a joint venture between the LGA and Ordnance Survey, which works with councils to produce street and address data.

Nick joined the Board in August 2024. He is Managing Director at GeoPlace LLP and an expert in location-based systems and services, with extensive experience advising Local Authorities, central Government agencies, and private sector businesses. He has a proven track record in using information and communication technologies to enhance organisational activities in both the public and private sectors.

Sir Brian Briscoe is a public sector consultant who joined the Board in 2007. He was Chief Executive of the Local Government Association from 1996 to 2006, Chief Executive of Hertfordshire County Council (1990-96) and is a planner and chartered surveyor.

Caroline joined the Land Data board in 2005. She was instrumental in setting up Land Data and transferring the NLIS business into the company. Caroline is a public finance expert, she trained in the health service, and has worked across the public sector.
